About Brian

Hello, my name is Brian and I've been working in elder care for over six years. I've worked for several nursing backed agencies and two private clients in that time dealing with all types of client needs. I have experience with hospice and end of life care as well as dementia and other cognitive / mood disorders. Older people impart wisdom through their experiences and outlook on life, and I've learned a lot from them over the years. It's a job that just feels like a core part of the human experience. There is a dignity in caring for people who need help that is deeply fulfilling. We all need help from time to time and over the course of our lives. I want to give people the sort of care I would hope to receive should I someday be in the same situation. In my spare time, I like to read (science fiction is one of my favorites), hike and kayak, play DnD and video games with friends. I'm a bit of a foodie and a traveler as well.
