About Mary

I have experienced caring for children of various ages since I was old enough to babysit. In high school, as well as my own side babysitting jobs on weekends and weeknights. Most recently, I have nannied for a preschool age boy for about two years. I have integrated arts, outdoors, science, and some learning activities along the way with various ages. Watching my nieces and nephews grow up, I've learned and experienced different ways of caring, dealing with issues as they arise and problem solving when need be. I love going on field trips when I can and exploring with the little ones as well. I am optimistic, patient and always willing to learn what works best and what does not - every kid and family is different, and I have learned over the years how to work alongside caregivers to the best of my abilities to work to accomplish daily, weekly and monthly goals.
