About Maria

My journey working with kids began in 2018, when I became an au pair. That experience opened my heart to the world of childcare in a very profound way. As an au pair, I lived with families and became immersed in their daily lives, learning to balance cultural differences, adjusting to their routines, and caring for their children as if they were my own family. Since then, I have gained a wide range of experiences with kids of different ages, from infants to young school-age children. I have helped with daily routines such as preparing meals, getting ready for school, bedtime routines, and maintaining consistent schedules. I have also been actively involved in educational activities like helping with homework, reading books, teaching basic skills, and encouraging curiosity through creative play. Playtime has been one of the most important parts of my work because I believe children learn so much through play-about themselves, about social interaction, and about the world around them.
