About Candice

Candi has been a wonderful addition to our extended family, and we cannot recommend her enough! She has been caring for our energetic triplet 5-year-old boys every afternoon for the past school year, and she’s truly wonderful. From the moment she picks them up from school, Candi creates a nurturing and structured environment where the boys feel safe, loved and engaged. One of the many things that sets Candi apart is her remarkable patience and compassion. No matter how energetic or challenging the day might be, she always remains calm and supportive, which is a gift when it comes to managing three lively boys. She is incredibly punctual and proactive about any schedule changes, giving us plenty of notice when needed, which makes coordinating our busy lives so much easier. What we appreciate most about Candi is her collaborative approach. She works closely with us as parents to address any behavioral challenges in a way that ensures consistency and teamwork. It’s clear that she wants the best for our kids and is fully invested in their growth and development. Candi’s professional background in nutrition is such a bonus. She prepares healthy, delicious snacks for the boys and is always mindful of how many "treats" they request in the afternoon. It’s reassuring to know that they’re getting nutritious options after school! Beyond that, her ability to keep them entertained is unparalleled. Whether it’s trips to the park, bike rides, or outdoor play on sunny days, or creative indoor activities like coloring and building with Magnatiles when the weather doesn’t cooperate, she always has something fun planned. She's also flexible and goes with the flow meeting the boys where they are on any particular day to ensure they are getting what they need - whether that's outdoor playtime or quiet activities to calm their minds. We feel fortunate to have found someone as dedicated and talented as Candi. Knowing our boys are in her care gives us peace of mind, and we’re already looking forward to having her back in the fall.
