About Mary

I've been working with children, & special needs children since I was 18. I was a competitive swimmer, and so, I taught swim lessons and also coached our local pool's Swim Team. I finished college as a Teacher for the Deaf / Art Teacher (Art education) Creativity is such a great gift and makes life so much easier when children can learn to tap into it. To sum up my life, I guess you can say I enjoy caring for Kids, Adults (i've cared for the elderly) and animals, mostly dogs, who I rescue and help as much as I possibly can to help others find homes, loving families and help for the fur babies who need it most. I really enjoy teaching pre reading children, pre verbal babies, and non verbal autistic children how to read, better communicate and speak using Sign Language as a tool which works wonders! Learning is so much easier when it's fun. That's what i'm good at.
