About Lhaurise

Hi! My name is Lhaurise, and I'm a patient and friendly tutor who genuinely enjoys helping kids learn and feel more confident in themselves. I've spent years working with younger children through the Guadalupe Tutor Corps, where I tutor elementary students and help them with reading, homework, classwork, and building important learning skills. I'm currently a nursing student, so I understand how stressful school can feel sometimes, especially when a child is struggling or losing confidence. I always try to create a calm, encouraging environment where kids feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace instead of feeling pressured. I'm especially good at being patient, staying organized, and explaining things in a way that's easier to understand.
