About Fernanda

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With five years of experience supporting elementary students, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication to ensure our sessions remain engaging. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the material to your personal interests to keep you motivated. I believe clear communication with families is essential to building a collaborative environment where progress thrives. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a community center, I am dedicated to helping you master Math, English, Science, History, or test preparation. Seeing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks is the greatest joy I find in my work.
