About Mary

I began my career in nursing at the age of 20, working as a nursing assistant in a long term care facility. I have experience caring for patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. I continued my nursing education to become a registered nurse and worked 16 years at a hospital. Working in both orthopedics and vascular medicine, The majority of the patients I cared for were 65+. I feel I have a good rapport with this population, possibly because I was raised by this generation. I helped care for both my aging parents, and have an understanding of the cares and concerns of an aging parent. I am a wife, mother of 3 boys, and have 3 cats and 1 dog. I love reading, baking and going for walks.
