About Martha

I am a retired Special Ed Teacher Assistant who worked full-time at a middle school for over 25 years. I am the mother of four grown children. My youngest son is an adult with special needs. I have experience with seizures and multiple diagnoses. I also am the grandmother of 12 aged 15 and under. I have experience with premature twins weighing under 5 lbs, and gently stimulating their growth. I am actively involved with all of my grandchildren, whether it be kicking around the soccer ball in the backyard or reading to two or three little ones before they go down for their nap. I love to swim and visit story time at the library. Children are my passion and I will engage yours as if they were my own. I never turn on a TV unless instructed to do so by the family. I am comfortable in the laundry room, washing dishes and vacuuming after the children are settled. My priority is caring for children, but I believe in keeping a tidy house whenever possible! I love pets!

Martha watched our son from 1.5-2.5 years old and then when we had our 2nd child, she watched both. Martha is AMAZING! We worked from home while she watched our kids and she was the best thing for us. She was constantly talking, singing, teaching and interacting with our kids and always left our home spotless. Martha is super-sweet and cannot highly recommend her. Our kids loved her.
