About Mattie

hi! i'm mattie and I love kiddos. I have many years of experience nannying as well as working in after school care and summer camps. I am great with kids of all ages even the teeny tiny one and I am CPR certified. I love doing arts and crafts with kids, playing with dolls and legos, spending time outside, and going on adventures. I am also a birth and postpartum doula and passionate about mama and baby health and development. I am extremely interested in child development and always looking to learn new things and implementing them with the kids I nanny. My childcare philosophy includes limiting screen time (especially for children under two as recommended by AAP) and gentle discipline and behavior management, along with encouraging self sufficiency and independence.
