About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as passionate, motivated, and a perfectionist. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to provide personalized, one-on-one support tailored to each student's individual needs. I am a certified elementary teacher (K-6) with experience in reading and math intervention, as well as working with gifted students and those who need additional support. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Educational Leadership. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, skiing, hiking, and spending time with my three energetic kids. Families should know I am a dedicated educator who brings positive energy and a strong commitment to helping students succeed and develop a love of learning. My strengths include differentiated instruction, student engagement, and building strong relationships that support academic growth and confidence.
