I was a teacher in Oregon and Washington in both private and public school. Most of my years were spent in Special Education, but I have also worked many years with students who needed extra reading and math support and who had behavior needs. I have worked with students from second grade through high school. I know some sign language and some basic Spanish. Since moving here to Colorado Springs, I have been a caregiver and an activities director in a small assisted living. I am still employed there, but am looking to connect back with children since that is my passion.
