Marilyn started caring for our father a few months ago spending most of the day with him making his breakfast, lunch and keeping him happy with snacks throughout the day. She was punctual or early, very observant, when she arrived she would check how he was doing engaging him in conversations during the day. She would remind him to his walker to get around and encouraged him to do some exercises and to walk around to keep him mobile. She would take his BP/pulse, gave him medicine we prepared, did his laundry, took him to his Dr. Appts, grocery shopping and errands. Our father doesn't open up to people easily but she gained his trust because of her calm, kind and compassionate disposition that he looked forward to her visit each day. We were fortunate to have her care for our father.
