About Maribella

I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience. I'm now pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology. I have over six years of experience tutoring a wide range of students. I specialize in working with students with disabilities, though I'm comfortable and experienced working with any type of student. Additionally, I have both clinical and research experience within academia at UCLA. I believe my background in psychology and healthcare gives me a unique lens on tutoring. Having taken coursework on the neuroscience of learning and the psychology of education, I bring an evidence-based understanding of what actually fosters success in school. I'm deeply passionate about the power of education, and I always aim to build my students up. Watching my students learn and grow is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring and I appreciate every opportunity to be part of that process.
