I am of retirement age, but not ready to stop working! I am creative and energetic and I love connecting with kids. Since 2009, I have been in education, and have taught all grades from PreK to 6th. I have taught reading, writing, math and science, and spent several years running a preschool. For me, working with children is a joyful endeavor, and patience is baked into my personality. I have experience with children who have special needs. I believe that all children are capable of learning, and that they, in fact, want to learn. It's human nature. I will use fun games and strategies to help your child learn reading, writing and math, while helping them build their confidence.
