l am a warm, nurturing, and highly skilled tutor with over 30 years of experience helping students of all ages succeed academically and behaviorally. As a former Montessori Head Teacher, I am exceptional at identifying each child's unique learning needs and creating customized materials and lessons to target their goals. My specialties include remedial tutoring in reading, writing and math from pre-k through high school levels. My number one priority is fostering a love of learning and helping children believe in themselves and their potential.

Nan was so thoughtful, well prepared and kind. She was clear with objectives and kept me in the loop on everything she was doing with my child. Her creativity made learning fun for my 4-year-old son and she was always aware of his cues to shift directions and lean into his interests to learn. She was always coming up with great new lesson plans and activities for them, things I could do later beyond her time which really takes the guesswork out of homeschooling for me. She would be an asset for any family to work with.
