About Marian

Learning alongside students is my passion. For seven years, I've helped elementary students thrive in math by creating engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I'm a certified teacher with a college degree. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I assess learning styles by actively listening and varying my teaching strategies. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests and celebrating successes. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting expectations. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I speak English and Spanish, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I tutor at student's homes and learning centers. I have CPR training and First Aid. I look forward to helping your student discover a love for math!
