About Mariann

I am an artist who loves engaging with community members and is familiar with the AP portfolio system. I am part of the local craft community and have experience both hosting and participating in all-ages markets, gallery shows, and large-scale events. I have a minor in Studio Art and have completed classes through Seattle Colleges in continuing education as a lifelong learner. I have a background in the humanities editing papers for grammar, usage, and mechanics from primary to graduate school. This includes grading standardized tests at the elementary and middle school levels. I do not believe AI is a substitute for learning and I have NEVER employed it for academic purposes. This is my strict philosophy. I encourage all students to do the same! I am an honors MPH graduate of EWU and hold a BA in Cinema Studies with honors from NYU. I was chosen as a member of the highly selective New Teacher Project and have completed some coursework through Antioch University's LMFT-AT program.
