About Kelly

Hi, I'm Kelly! I recently graduated from Willamette University with a BA in Environmental Science, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. I am passionate about education, and seek to use my knowledge and experiences to help others. I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Willamette University for two years, where I helped to create undergraduate lesson plans and provided office hours for first-year students. I also have one year of volunteer experience with the Global Partners for Student Success organization in Salem, Oregon. This is an ESL transition program geared towards tutoring high school refugee students who had recently resettled in the United States. I mainly assisted students with math, science, and history homework. Finally, I have two years of volunteer experience with the Tiger Club in Salem, Oregon. This is an after-school program for elementary-aged students. I facilitated educational activities and helped students with reading comprehension.
