About Maria

Caring for children is truly my passion! I have over four years of experience working with kids from newborn to 11 years old, and I bring a patient, creative, and warm approach to childcare. I have a nursing degree from my home country, which gives me a strong background in child development, health, and safety. I'm currently working as a paraprofessional at Groveland Elementary School in a Spanish immersion kindergarten classroom, where I support children in both English and Spanish. I'm comfortable setting and following household rules and believe good communication is key, so I'm happy to share updates by text, phone, or in person. I love playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles, and doing fun educational activities with kids. I have my own car, and can care for up multiple children at a time.
