We hired Maria (Fannie) full time for our daughter, age 2 to 7 months. We only did not continue because we had already had an au pair set to arrive. But Fannie still helps us out and it's not just our daughter, but us, who light up when we see her. Fannie is creative, enthusiastic, tireless, and truly loves children. She is never late. We never have to ask for anything twice. She takes initiative with baby laundry, prepping meals, etc. She is observant, calm, shows appropriate concern, and is never fazed. She works on developing skills like reading, talking, rolling, sitting, and crawling rather than just playing. It can be hard to tell an ok nanny from a truly great one until you've been fortunate enough to find a great one and Fannie is it. She genuinely cares for our daughter and does not make this feel like just a job. If we ever needed it, she is the only person we would leave our daughter with for weeks without worry. Your family will be so lucky to have Fannie in your lives.
