I have over five years of experience caring for and educating children ranging from infants through kindergarten, I previously worked as a teacher at The Goddard School. I believe childcare is about much more than teaching numbers, letters, shapes, and colors. It's about creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel confident, valued, and encouraged to learn. I also believe in building strong, trusting relationships with parents through open communication and teamwork to ensure each child's individual needs are met. As a mother to a 6 yr old, I understand firsthand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your child. Many of the families I met through The Goddard School continue to rely on me for babysitting, which reflects the lasting relationships I've built with both children and parents. Andrea was absolutely wonderful with my three boys. I reached out on very short notice during an unusually stressful day, and she stepped in without hesitation and immediately brought a calm, warm, and reassuring presence into our home. All three of my boys took to her incredibly well. What stood out to me most was how comfortable and happy they were with her—not just while she was here, but afterward. My son Toby continued asking about Andrea and when she was coming back for several days after she watched them. As a parent, that says a lot. Andrea was patient, attentive, dependable, and genuinely engaged with the boys. Managing three young children at once is no small task, particularly on a hectic day with very little advance notice, but she handled it exceptionally well and gave me tremendous peace of mind. We feel very fortunate to have found her and are already looking forward to having Andrea back. I would absolutely recommend her to other families, and I hope to have her become a more regular part of our boys' routine.
