About Afsana

I am an experienced childcare provider with a strong background in child development, early childhood education, and behavioral support. I completed a two-year Child Development program in high school, where I gained hands-on experience working with young children and learning about developmental milestones, lesson planning, and age-appropriate activities. I also worked at The Goddard School in Bethesda, caring for children ages 6 months to 4 years, supporting daily routines, early learning activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. In addition, I worked as a Behavior Technician for eight months, providing one-on-one support to children and helping them develop communication, social, and behavioral skills through positive reinforcement strategies. I am CPR certified and trained in child abuse awareness, and I prioritize safety, patience, and attentive care.
