About Mariah

ello, my name is Mariah. I graduated from The Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. Knowledge and learning new things has always been a hobby of mine. I started tutoring part-time in November of this year. I have experience tutoring children from elementary school to high school. I also had a background check done in October and November of this year through other tutoring agencies I work through. I am very familiar with the curriculum and what is going on in the classroom. I use videos and worksheets during my sessions, to give the child a visual as well as practice problems to make sure they understand the material. I also work with them on study tips, so they can go over the material daily, without me being there. I am very patient and understanding. My schedule is flexible in the evening and on weekends.
