Hi! I'm Mariah, a caring and experienced nanny with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Education. With over two years of nannying experience and a background in Montessori schooling, I bring a thoughtful, child-centered approach to caregiving. I focus on supporting creativity, and emotional growth through play, learning, and positive connection. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. My background in Sociology and Education (College of Charleston) has shaped my deep understanding of child development, social-emotional learning, and inclusive, supportive educational environments. I believe children thrive when they feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore the world around them. Whether we're doing a hands-on science experiment, reading a story together, or building a blanket fort, I aim to create a nurturing space that supports curiosity and builds confidence.
