About Carrie

Hello families! I'm Carrie, a creative, nurturing caregiver with 15 years of experience supporting children in home, school, and enrichment settings. My background in behavioral therapy and music education has given me a deep understanding of communication, emotional regulation, and child development. My approach is warm, structured, and child-centered, encouraging curiosity, independence, and emotional growth through creative play and exploration. I've worked with children of all ages and abilities, including those with learning or sensory differences. Drawing from Montessori principles, I incorporate rhythm, art, outdoor play, and hands-on learning that inspire connection and confidence. I'll begin pre-master's coursework in Speech-Language Pathology in January. Until then, I'm available full-time through December, with part-time hours continuing into the new year. Families describe me as calm, reliable, and deeply attuned to each child's unique needs.
