About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I would love to help care for you and your family. I recently moved to Charleston from California and ready to get back to work. I'm a dependable, caring, and patient being with natural love working and playing with kids. While I'm new to the professional babysitting world, I have spent years helping care for children of friends and family which played a role in building my love for creating a safe and supportive environment. I have a background in sociology and applied psychology, and starting this summer, I'll be taking classes toward becoming a Child Life Specialist-so supporting children's emotional well-being is something I'm very passionate about. With my previous job experiences, I have been known to be responsible, reliable, and calm under pressure. I'm happy to help with playtime, routines, light meals, and keeping things organized. I aim to make both kids and parents feel comfortable and at ease.
