I am a special education teacher for more than 30 years now. I taught students with varying disabilities in the Philippines for 11 years and was hired by Santa Clara County Office of Education 19 yrs ago. I handled medically fragile students in the post senior level for 3 years and I am currently on my 16th year of teaching students with autism in the middle school. I also have a 34year-old daughter with mild/moderate intellectual disability. I have numerous experiences with children, youth and adults with special needs.
