I'm semi-retired continuing to help families with ER care of various scenarios. Having been a child psycho-social nurse and having raised 3 sons, I have plenty of experience with family needs and organization. I have continued to care for children, including newborns and multiples. Having been a working-mom, also as the owner/operator of a mortgage company, I have a financial background and an understanding of the stresses of working parents. I provide short term child care for the unexpected or bridge your child care needs while you're looking for the perfect nanny.

Marcia was the perfect choice for a care giver. She was very helpful when I needed support around a scheduled surgery. She helped me with transportation and aftercare, going above and beyond in all aspects. I would trust her again with my own care or anyone in my family. ❤️

Marcia is wonderful and has skills that I've found are rare to find in a caregiver, like subtle social/emotional communication skills and a real ability to get on a child's wavelength and play in a child's world. Marcia stands out as among the best caregivers we’ve had. It takes real training to know how to validate a child's emotions, whatever they might be, and to transition through activities with ease, which Marcia has done whenever she's cared for my son. Marcia's training as a mental health professional, as a mom of adult children, and as a longtime caregiver of kids shows. My son loved her from the moment he met her and continues to ask when Marcia will come back to play. She is reliable and trustworthy. I was so grateful to have found her as a back-up support caregiver. 

Marcia was a wonderful help to us who we will continue to have look after our children. She got our young boys ready in the morning, drove them to school, and picked them up from school. She was punctual, played with them making a puppet theater and skipping, and the kids loved her. Furthermore, Marcia is an inspiring person who I greatly enjoyed talking to. Thank you Marcia!

We hired Marcia after a full-time nanny for our 6mo old fell through. From the start she was responsive, straightforward, and honest about her approach towards childcare and what we could expect. What was also quite nice was knowing what her needs were as well. We were all on the same page very quickly. 

Marcia took to our son very easily and vice versa. She enjoyed being active and outside with him taking him for walks almost daily. Marcia is no stranger to the area and genuinely enjoyed taking our son on his afternoon walks...our dog didn't mind either :) 

Naps and inside care were never a worry. Marcia's experience with a variety of family's was pretty evident and she asked what our preferences for everything was, including how we like to put the baby to bed. 

Marcia helped us when we were in a huge crunch and made our lives easier in a very short amount of time. We hope many more families like ours get to have that experience. We highly recommend her.

Marcia is amazing and we will not hesitate to hire again. She is extremely attentive and engaging with our 16-month old J and came through last minute when our other nanny moved out of state. 5-star caregiver who is pleasant all around and is very helpful to a working family.

Marcia has been a part-time nanny for our 2 year old daughter for the last 8 months. She is an exceptional nanny and person. She is thoughtful and caring and genuinely loves our daughter. We consider her a part of our family and would trust her with just about anything. Our daughter, who is sensitive and shy, adores her as well. Marcia often brings puzzles or other activities she knows our daughter will love. She is very dependable and has made herself available at the last minute on several occasions when needed. I don't know what I would do without her. We love her and hope that she will continue to be a part of our lives. 

We hired Marcia to take care of our 7 and 10 year old children ( and a dog), for 2 days a week before/after school and 12 hours on Saturdays for 3 weeks. Next to the usual things she drove them to  sport activities and helped them with their reading from school. I can not say enough good things about her. The kids were looking forward to see her, she did arts and craft, walks and games with them. She is very reliable and even came every time a few minutes earlier. We could trust her completely and will hire her again if we need help.

Marcia is wonderful with my son.  She is attentive, caring, sweet, playful.  I feel very comfortable leaving him in her care.  She is very mindful of our parenting style.  She was punctual and went out of her way to be available when we needed her.  I look forward to having Marcia care for our son again in the future.  

Marcia has watched our two daughters several times, a 3 year old and 5 month old. She has such a warm and loving soul - both of the girls were instantly drawn to her. Marcia is very thorough and asks all the right questions to make sure she does the job exactly right. She gives 110% and we all enjoyed the time she spent with us. Your family will be in great hands, guaranteed.
