About Malia

Nurturing young minds and supporting families is truly a passion of mine. I was a 2nd & 3rd grade teacher for 2 years and hold a masters in education. In addition to my teaching background, I've spent several years babysitting and also have worked at a daycare, giving me a well- rounded understanding of child development and care. I'm comfortable caring for a couple children at a time, engaging them with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I also have experience with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am CPR certified and always follow a parent's preferred communication method. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I have some college experience and a car. I am happy to help with carpooling and travel, and I'm comfortable with pets. I truly enjoy being a part of a child's journey, and I look forward to connecting with your family!
