Hiya, I'm Maia!! I'm a 19-year-old born and raised in DC with a huge passion for childcare! I love imagination based play, arts and crafts, and outside adventures! I have experience with kids aged Infant- 10 years old. I have a soft spot for babies and toddlers and am currently studying to get my Newborn Care Specialist certification. I would love to become an important addition to your family! I like working with kids because everyday is a new opportunity for growth and development. Lessons and learning are everywhere! Kids are curious and keep me questioning and engaging with the world around me! I'm looking for a job that is ideally around 20-30 hours a week! I'm hoping to be matched with a family that has an infant so I can develop more experience in newborn and infant care. I am committed to getting formally educated in newborn and infant care. I am currently studying at the NCA. I love encouraging curiosity to help meet developmental goals!
