About Maeve

As an active elementary teacher, I believe every student has unique potential and that fostering confidence and a love for learning is the key ingredient to student success. I believe that lessons should be adapted to student needs using variety of teaching methods, such as using visual aids or hands-on activities. I am quick to celebrating successes whether big or small. I prioritize parent communication as a way of better understanding student needs and goals. I have a bachelor's in psychology and will soon graduate with a masters in teaching at SLU. I have 2 years teaching experience. I'm happy to tutor K-6 in math, reading, science, and social studies and even piano! I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at your home, a library, or a coffee shop.
