About Maengun

Learning isn't one-size-fits-all, and I tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. With a college degree and 3 years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school students in math, art, and history, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I actively listen and observe how students interact with new material, adapting my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. By connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and breaking down complex problems, I keep students motivated and engaged. Communication is key, and I value open dialogue with students and parents to ensure optimal progress. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding part of being a tutor, and I'm excited to help you achieve your academic goals!
