Learning alongside students is my passion. I believe every student possesses unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning by creating an engaging and patient environment. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material. I vary my teaching strategies and encourage open communication. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate small successes. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment. I have some college experience and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR trained and have First Aid certification. I would love to help your elementary school student with math, English, science, or sports and fitness, either online, at a coffee shop, or at your home. Let's work together to make learning fun!
