About Madison

I'd describe my personality as determined, patient, compassionate. I like tutoring because I love to see the little "Aha" moments when new concepts are grasped. Tutoring gives me confidence in the future. I started tutoring when in University as a group tutor who would have groups of almost 20 sudents at a time. I started as a Genetics tutor and realized there was so many more subjects I could help with! In my spare time, I like to research dinosaurs/playArk Survival Evolved, listen to audiobooks and play Table-top RPG's I meet students where they are at. I have multiple tutoring strategies from playdough to drawing, however the concept can be reached, that is what is important to me. I focus on individual student improvement. I specialize in working with neurodivergent students because I enjoy thinking about things in different ways and comming up with supports that will help my students every day! My skills include tolerance, persistence and adapting to each student's needs.
