I have 20 years experience as a K-2 elementary teacher. I love helping children learn! I am able to help your child with beginning reading, writing, and math skills. I'd describe my personality as patient, encouraging and playful. I like tutoring because watching kids grow in their learning is so rewarding! I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue sharing my love of teaching reading, writing, and math to young learners. I started tutoring when I had realized working one on one with kids during the summer, school breaks, and after school was so impactful. In my spare time, I like to hike, play catch with my son, wander the farmers market and enjoy all the Colorado has to offer. One thing you should know about me is I love finding what works specifically for each kiddo. Connecting personally with your child is just as important as the learning.
