About Madeleine

I grew up helping care for my sister & knew wanted to work with children. I've worked with kids of every age, including infants & children with special needs. I started at 17 with a new family where the mom needed some extra assistance. I was babysitting & it evolved into a partial live-in role. Her mother (who became a family friend), invited me to her graduation party two years ago. She'd been recruited by ISU's women's rugby team & as a STEM student. I've since had mostly live-in positions with two or more children of multiple ages, different genders, & special needs. I was even nicknamed me Maddie Poppins by a lovely family I cared for until my move to Florida. I moved down in 2018 to take care of my grandmother while she recovered from a successful cancer removal surgery.
