About Alma

I am in search of a full time nanny position as I am leaving my current position at which I have been for almost 12 years. I began with my current family in February of 2004, when their daughter was just 8 weeks old. I have been an integral part of their daughter's upbringing and have be vested in her interest in the same manner as if she were my own daughter - from her first steps, potty training, first time getting picked up on the school bus, attending school plays, and after school activities and sports. I prefer to be active and enjoy being out and about with the children - taking them for walks, to the park, to story time and having play dates. I love dogs and care for them in the same manner. My current family accepted me into their family and I have given back many times over with helping hands. Their daughter is more independent now and no longer requires the same level of care and we move into the next phases of our lives. I hope to provide for a new family the same care.

I know Alma because she's been the nanny for a very close friend for nearly 12 years. I live up the block from the family she works for, so I've seen her care for their daughter from the toddler through tween years. When I first met Alma I was extremely impressed by her overall presence, from her fashionable appearance to her engaging and enthusiastic style of care giving. Since my children are very close friends with the girl she cares for, I have spent a lot of time with Alma over the years. We carpool for activities, attend family celebrations, and even spend weekends together in a vacation home we share with the family she works for. I've always found her to be reliable, responsible, helpful, neat and a pleasure to have around.
