About Maddie

Hi, I am Maddie and I am a student studying public health (pre-OT) at Carroll University. I grew up helping my grandparents with my younger cousins and spent most of my later teens babysitting my neighbors. In 2024, I got a job at Butterfield Park District in Illinois, close to my hometown, where I was a K5 Camp Counselor for 2 years. Being a counselor was one of the best experiences I have ever gone through and I am so glad I did. During my time at the park district, I spent my summers making fun lesson plans of games and activities that the kids would do. We would go to the pool 3 times a week where I would supervise the kiddos in the pool. Field trips were every week and it was always so much fun going through those with the kids because they made the trips so much more worth it. I was CPR certified in 2024, but I will need to get re-certified this year.
