About Alicia

I am a child caregiver and mom of four children, ages 10, 8, 5 and 2. I enjoy reading, photography, crafts, music, and baking. I love to find exciting activities to entertain and teach kids other than screen time. I am fluent in Spanish as my second language. I can help your child learn Spanish if you are interested! I love to spend time outdoors-camping, biking, and going to the park, farm, and zoo. After teaching elementary and middle school Spanish in a school district full-time for 6 years, my husband and I went on a 7-month volunteer trip in Ecuador to help working children, and to Peru to teach English and crafts in an orphanage. My passion has always been for working with kids. Since becoming a mom, I have worked part-time as a child caregiver in addition to teaching and tutoring Spanish. My family and I would love to welcome another child into our home to care for and play with!
