About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as hard working, caring, outgoing and very easy going. I like working with kids because they're so much fun and it's something I've always had a passion for. I started working with kids when I was 12. I was a babysitter for kids in my neighborhood. Once I began college, I worked in a daycare with children ages 6 weeks-4 years old primarily. After graduation I joined the school district in Green Bay as a special education paraprofessional. I moved home in 2023 (Milwaukee area) and joined a school in Waukesha, and I am now a special education teacher. I will be completing my 4th school year in Special Education. In my spare time, I like to watch sports, fish, and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am incredibly dependable and take working with your children very seriously. My skills include planning activities, helping with homework, keeping the kids busy and entertained and having fun.
