About Lynn

I am an educator with a PhD and more than 30 years of experience helping students achieve academic success. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed expertise in reading, science, and history while empowering students to become critical thinkers, problem solver, and lifelong learners. I believe every child learns differently, so I begin by identifying each students unique learning style and tailoring instruction to match their strengths and needs. I use engaging, relevant topics, positive reinforcement, and meaningful discussions to build understanding, motivation, and confidence. Collaboration is a key component of my approach. I work closely with both students and parents to establish goals, monitor progress, and provide regular updates along with strategies for reinforcement my goal is to build a positive relationship and strong rapport while creating a supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating growth.
