About Karmen

Empowering students to think critically and solve complex problems is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners, I specialize in subjects ranging from Math and English to History and the arts. I believe that open communication is essential to understanding your specific needs and setting clear, achievable goals. By celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement, I keep students engaged even when tackling challenging concepts. I adapt my methods by listening to what works best for your unique learning style. Witnessing a student's confidence grow as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or online, I look forward to partnering with you to reach your academic milestones and seeing you thrive.
