About Lynda

After 19 years of teaching special education in a life skills program at both the elementary and the high school levels, I'm looking forward to using my skills to work with a child or children with severe disabilities in a private setting. I have a degree in music therapy and graduate degree in education. I have always been interested in the education and support of all children, especially those with special needs, but am open to working with typically developing children as well. As a teacher I coordinated with occupational, physical, speech and language therapists, teachers of the visually impaired and hearing impaired as well as with families. In fact, collaboration is one of the things I love most about special education/caregiving. While my primary focus of course would be childcare, I would be happy to do light housework and help with meal preparation to make your family routine run smoothly.
