My name is Melissa, my friends call me Mel. I have a 7-year-old son, and would love to bring him with me if it's during the summer months. I love animals, and don't mind preparing meals and helping with light house duties. I enjoy arts & crafts, music, outings. I have 7 years experience in a daycare setting, 1 of those years as a lead teacher, 3+ years of experience as a nanny to a wonderful family with 3 children, that I am still in contact with even though the children are in middle school and high school now. I have been babysitting since my preteen years, and throughout high school I worked at an after school program. Most recently I have worked as a special education paraprofessional (3 years) and an assistant teacher in a 1st/2nd grade classroom. Education: Associates in Early Childhood, CPR & First Aid cert. Just a few classes away from earning my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.

Melissa started working for us when my kids were 1, 3 and 4. She worked for us full time for about 4 years and then as the kids all went to school full time we didn’t need the same level of care. She continued to help in the mornings, afternoons and summers. Melissa is a wonderful care giver to any age child. She is nurturing, loving, silly, kind and imaginative. She is one of the most reliable Nannie’s we have had, which was very important for me since I had to commute to Boston at a very early hour for work. She is easy to communicate with and followed all our guidance, as well as utilized ideas of her own which was so helpful with her background in education. My kids really enjoyed having Melissa as their nanny and she has truly become part of the family. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
