About Lydia

I would describe my personality as attentive, lighthearted, and respectful. I like working with kids because I am #9 in a family of 13. I grew up helping take care of my younger siblings, and I now babysit my nieces and nephews. I'm looking for a job that gives me the ability to have a one-on-one relationship with the family and flexibility of schedule. I have been babysitting and volunteering for church child care since I was 14. In my spare time, I like to play the guitar, thrift, cook, be outdoors, sew, read books, and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely communicative and will always do my best to be as open and honest as possible. My skills include communication with parents on how they would wish that I interact with their child/children and can easily adapt myself to that. I am firm and have no issue saying no if I need to, or yes if I need to. I am sensitive to emotional needs and physical body language and boundaries.
