I am friendly, flexible, and kind. I like working with kids because there is never a dull moment when babysitting. Also, it's always come naturally to me. I'm looking for a job that can work with my class times and is nearby. I also want to work with communicative parents so I can make sure I'm doing the best job I can. I started working with kids when I was in middle school, volunteering to help in the nursery during church services. Later on, I started regularly babysitting for two different families. One thing you should know about me is I am a fast learner. I can adapt and solve problems very quickly. I would say I'm good at diffusing a situation calmly, enforcing rules like bedtime or screen limits in a gentle way, and coming up with fun new games to play to keep a kid entertained.

Alathea was amazing with 1.5 year old. She had an uphill task as my baby was not used to nannies and this was her first time with someone other than immediate family taking care of her. She was also put in an awkward situation as we had my elderly family visiting but she showed immense cultural sensitivity and she was just like a part of the family. Always punctual and reliable, she was also wonderfully calming presence for our daughter. We loved her and would highly recommend her!
