I am originally from Colombia, but I have lived in New York for the past 21 years. I love working with children and I have more than 10 years of experience in the early education field. My career as an educator began in 2010 as a recreational specialist for the city of New York where I taught swimming lessons to children 6 months to 5 years old. In 2013, I became a full time infant teacher with one of the premier preschools in Manhattan, specializing in RIE (Resources for Infant Educators), a philosophy that encourages learning and though child-led exploration. In addition to being an RIE certified educator, First Aid/CPR certified, NCS certified and Zumba kids trained, I have a particular interest art and have attended arts-specific child workshops to help children further explore their innate creativity. I have Nannied for 7 beautiful families caring for infants/toddlers/preschoolers. I am a very responsible, energetic, reliable and highly motivated gal with lots of love to give.

Luisa is sweet, kind, helpful, creative and was full of initiative with both our toddler and our newborn. She helped to ensure that my postpartum experience as a new mom of two was smooth and pleasant. My husband and I loved working with her, our son adores her, and she demonstrated so much intuitive maternal warmth with our new baby. I honestly can't recommend Luisa enough.
