I have a Child Development certification, with a focus on infants and toddlers, and I'm also a certified Teacher Associate. I enjoy supporting children's growth through safe, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.

Lourdes worked for me as a computer repair technician for almost 3 years. I was Lourdes' manager and would like to recommend her for employment with any organization. Lourdes' performance was exemplary. She is a conscientious, highly-skilled computer repair tech. She is detail oriented and has a firm grasp of technical terms. She was installing operating systems, productivity software and troubleshooting hardware/software problems. Setup and configuration of desktop systems. Not only is Lourdes highly intelligent, she also is very hardworking. She invariably understands exactly what a project is all about from the outset, and how to get it done quickly and effectively. Lourdes has taken care of my son since he was 4 months old and is like a second mother to him. During her time with our son and his nanny share buddy, she speaks to them in Spanish, she takes them to various activities (she's extremely resourceful and aware of where all the fun, free events are in the city), engages with them by speaking to them constantly, laughs with them, teaches them new things, and keeps them on schedule both for feeding and napping. As a first-time mom, I have learned so much from her. I credit Lourdes for sleep training our son, teaching him how to feed himself finger foods, teaching him how to hold the bottle, even showing him how to clap, wave bye bye, and teaching him how to walk (with assistance). She is amazing.

Everyday when I come home, the place is cleaner than how I left it. She is completely trustworthy and reliable and always shows up early. She never watches TV and only texts when communicating with me. It's clear that she puts all her focus and love on the boys. She is warm, kind, patient but also very good at appropriately managing the boys. 

I have complete and total confidence that she will always use great judgment when I am away. I trust her completely and she has become a part of our family. My husband and I couldn't give her a higher recommendation.

Lourdes is currently our nanny. She is absolutely the best. She is genuine, kind, and all around a terrific person. Our son lights up when he sees her in the morning. I never have to worry about him when he is with her. Everyday she has something for the boys to do together - music class, play dates in the park, or baby rhyme time. She has a ton of energy and truly cares for my son and his overall well being. It makes me terribly sad to part ways with her, but we have recently moved to the East Bay. Your child will be in good hands with Lourdes.

Lourdes is a wonderful nanny! My son adores her and literally lights up when he sees her. She is smart, loyal, caring, and genuine. My son took to her instantly and I never worry about him when she is watching him. She is very attentive and thorough, at the end of the day she gives me a recap of all important information- naps, diaper changes, mood, etc. She has a ton of energy, and is always thinking of fun things to do with the boys out side of the house. We are sad to be leaving her, but with the move to the East Bay we decided to put our son in Day Care. I would love to continue working with Lourdes, whomever hires her is very lucky to have a such a wonderful nanny.

I currently employ Lourdes and love her; more importantly, my daughter loves her; she is a like a part of my family. My daughter will be starting preschool soon; I have essentially held her back for an extra year, for I felt that Lourdes pretty much offered her everything my daughter needed. And while I wanted her to go to preschool last year, it has been the most amazing year for my daughter with activities, classes and partnership with Lourdes. In a perfect world, I don't want to lose Lourdes. 
I highly recommend her because: 
Lourdes is smart, very reliable and loving. She is wonderful with babies and children. My daughter runs to her with open arms every morning ready to start that day's adventure as I leave for work. She encourages outdoor play and exercise. She never has the TV on, she engages my daughter in art, fun play in the house, reading, has taken her to her daily classes and library activities, the park, museums daily. She is bilingual and speaks only Spanish with my daughter (per my request) but speaks fabulous English with me. 
She also prepares nutritious meals for my daughter, gets her ready for dinner and follows any instructions I give her without complaint or push-back. I trust her 150%. She is experienced in potty training and keeping my daughter on meal and nap schedules. If I request anything, she won't hesitate. Nor does she complain (fortunately) when I change our schedule last minute or my requests for care.
Lourdes has been incredibly flexible with my difficult work schedule (often changing hours and days on short notice by text the night before). She always is early and has been more than happy to stay late, often working long hours or additional "date night" evenings. As a working mother, I have really come to rely on Lourdes; with her not being late, never calling in sick, I have been able to focus on work with complete confidence that my daughter was loved and well-cared for on her watch. I can see that she loves my daughter (who is now 4) and that my daughter is excited knowing she is spending the day with Lourdes. Every night I come home to see them reading, drawing or playing, my daughter in pajamas and ready to cuddle with me! What more can I ask for!
