About Lori

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the driving force behind my 10 years of teaching experience. As a certified teacher, I specialize in Math, English, History, and essential study skills for elementary students. My approach centers on building your child's confidence by connecting complex concepts to their personal interests and real-world examples. I actively observe how each student interacts with new material, allowing me to tailor my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions--to suit their unique style. I believe clear, consistent communication with parents is the foundation of a successful partnership. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a difficult skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I am eager to create a supportive environment where your child feels encouraged to explore and grow, and I look forward to helping your student thrive.
